Since 2006, the director of the Foyer Notre Dame — an elderly home in the Savoie region — has begun training all its nurses in empathy-based care. Using the four pillars of the Humanitude method — vision, touch, speech and verticality — this film explores these trials and their results on the health of patients. Its value is corroborated by renowned scientists working on alternatives to drugs. In Lausanne, Grenoble and Nimes, other practitioners have implemented these approaches and explain here the physiological effects of this empathy and tenderness.
