Lille – Château de la Phalecque

The archeological search of the Fives neighbourhood in Lille reveals the presence of a defensive castle that later became residential. Coupled with archival research, this discovery contributes to a better understanding of the evolution of the Phalecque castle, the city and its surroundings as well as the daily lives of its inhabitants during modern times.
